PTSO Primary Board Meeting 

Thursday, 18 DEC 2025 7P SOCO Chloez Cafe 

o Call the meeting to order 6:20pm 

o Attendance – 6

o Principal: 

o January 2026 faculty meeting: When do snacks need to be delivered (13th of 27th)? Yes, snacks needed on the 13th. There will be approx. 150 

o Gift cards (25) at $20/each. When are they needed? 8 Jan 2026? Requests for type of card  (business)? 

Gift cards needed by 1/8. Amazon is preferred.  

o Updates 

Potato table went really well. 

1/5 back to school 

1/8 Curriculum night for all grades because there are going to be some new classes. Connie  to send a blurb to PTSO so we can send a membership toolkit message.  

1/19 Martin Luther King Jr. Day 

1/20 Rising Seniors class sign up starts that week. Every weekish after that, the other classes  start signing up. 

o Budget: 

o Extravaganza 

▪ All cash/receipts deposited 

All deposited and submitted. Last raffle basket was delivered.  

▪ Any outstanding expenditure must be submitted ASAP-kitty has one to submit for  duct tape.  

▪ Mr. Dan Valazquez will be contacting and distributing any outstanding raffle/auction  items-all good, a few raffle items less value- we will keep. We ask Carla for the last  few outstanding winners. 

o Senior Class Support Fund 

▪ What does the PTSO do with extra cash? 

We have an outstanding check of $1800 to cover class of 2025 senior class. The  proposed plan on the table is to cancel the old check and generate a new check. Dr. K  will investigate the ‘lost check’ and share the findings and answer by 1/5/26. 

▪ Need to discuss with donors how they would like funds to be managed when they  are not spent in the year collected. 

The donor will draft a document outlining how they would like the monies spent. Katie will reach out to donors to follow-up with this.  

o Treasurer report 

-Most activity is raising funds for all night grad party. Extravaganza is almost reconciled. A  few of the recent deposits will be adjusted and updated for next meeting. 

-Discussion will happen on how much income do school groups get for participating in the  extravaganza.  

o Upcoming events: 

o School Counseling Week: 2-6 Feb 2026 

o SRO Day: 15 Feb 2026 

o Spring Fling? Does anyone want to organize and make this happen? 

-we will back burner the spring fling until we have a lead and point of contacts.  o PTSO Board for the 2026-2027 school year 

We will review bylaws to adapt tenures of board roles.
