- Financials as of June 15. $540.88 bricks. $350 teacher gift cards (remove from Increase in funds).
- Walk of Fame Bricks, earned $1200. May market more starting at Stallion Stampede for upcoming SCHS anniversary.

- Membership actuals $3,300 (budgeted $6,000)/goal is $5,250
- K discussed ways to incentivize faculty to join membership. Is it possible to do a raffle for those membership that day; Google form to teachers; QR code to Google form for parents to join; Seniors who sign up to be a member can get first choice on spot; Freshmen at Stampede; etc.
- Suggestion to have flier with highlights of what PTSO money go towards on August 11th at teacher breakfast –to be available by 7:45am) to help incentivize memberships. Google form or paper forms could be available; square available.
- Craft Fair
- Total income $34,000 (budgeted $31,000)
- Expenses were lower than expected $925 ($1,500 budgeted)
- Donations $2,187.75
- Membership actuals $3,300 (budgeted $6,000)/goal is $5,250
- Program services
- Monthly Events/Recognitions: increase budget by $500 to $4,000
- To revise Club Funding form to include monthly recognition. Need to clarify the max for monthly recognition is $250.
- Career Center keep at $1,000
- Remove Food for Families
- Monthly Events/Recognitions: increase budget by $500 to $4,000
- Academic enrichment
- Classroom support ($200 per request): increase line item to $3,000
- Club Grants ($300 per request): increase line item to $4,000
- Student Success Recognition $1,500 (10, $5 gift cards per quarter; ask for feedback from kids on what gift cards are desirable)
- Science Fair: Increase by $300 to $1,500
- Teacher Professional Development reduce form $3,500 to $2,000
- Discussion: What else falls into professional development? Dr. K has not denied anyone for professional development. He will focus on reminding teachers throughout the year that this is an option.
- Teacher/staff appreciation
- Staff appreciation week: increase by $500 to $4,000
- Welcome breakfast and BTSN/School Recognition Days increases by $1,000 to $3,000
- Snack Bag s for Staff Meetings: PTSO will request donations from the community. First Tuesday of month; except for first one which is tentatively September 9.
- CD: 1 year, will keep as-is.
- K Updates
- PTSO to purchase two $1,500 water fountains, one outside chorus room and the other TBD (from Facilities and Programs line item).
- Securely hall pass system. $2,000 allocated last year to spend this 2025-2026 year. To split cost of first year and not beyond this (from Facilities and Programs line item).
- Football Field returned; basketball court redone.
- Spring Sports ended so late because of successful: boys and girls track; girls soccer; girls softball; Ava Abromovich female athlete of the year for softball.
- First Day Pep Rally. Details TBD; Senior Sunrise same day 530am.
- A-Hall Lockers. In early July, in-house team to remove 2-4 rows of lockers to install benches into concrete slabs. Volunteers to do the work. NHS is donating a bench.
- Continued to be impressed with the volunteerism, PTSO behind-the scenes and things people don’t see!
- Next Tuesday, August 5th 6pm in the library
- Next General PTSO board meeting will be Thursday, 18 Sep 2024 @7P in the library
